Frequently asked questions

The things most first-time and returning students want to know, in plain language.

01Which class level should I take?+

Read the level guide on the home page. If you are unsure between two levels, begin with the easier one and ask the instructor after class.

02Where should I park?+

Parking information is shared with each booked class by email. Studio locations are also well served by public transit.

03When can I start?+

New workshops and DDP batches are announced throughout the year. Check the current schedule to see what is open for registration.

04How are classes structured?+

Classes begin with a warm-up, then move into steps and short combinations, followed by a choreographed combination that changes each class.

05How much does each class cost?+

Prices are shown directly on every class or workshop detail page before you book.

06What age are your students?+

Students are mature teenagers aged 16+ and adults of all ages. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian’s signature.

07What if I am late?+

Entry closes 10 minutes after the class starts so everyone completes enough of the warm-up to dance safely. Please call if you think you will be late.

08What should I wear?+

Wear comfortable clothes you can move and sweat in. Bring clean indoor shoes for hip-hop; jazz/contemporary classes may use jazz shoes, bare feet or socks depending on the floor.

09Are there showers or lockers?+

Studios do not have showers or lockers. Bring your belongings into class and keep them in the designated area.

10Can I bring my children while I take class?+

Children cannot sit in the studio while you participate, and DDC cannot provide child supervision.
